Section 4

Home work for next week is to complete section 4. Also, visit the library and search for more books about bilingualism or multilingualism. Books on countries that have two or more standard languages and compiled thesis will be very helpful for informations and datas.

Today, we finished sections 1-3 and by next week we need to write something on the 4th books.

Homework for this week

This week, we need to answer numbers 1, 2 and 3 of our profolio. Also, starting from next week we are all going to work with our groupmates who have the same topic as ours. I think it`s a good thing that we are all trying to help each other.

Things to remember for writing the next paper

1. Search for books at the library, have more references aside from the internet.
2. Think of a new topic that is interesting for me, at the same time, academic.
3. Compare first eassy with new one. Check the parts where I got a lot of mistakes.
Example: The information was scattered
There were only two references

During the first half of the class, we talked about the proper way of referecing a citation, quote and information. There are two types of references, APA and Chicago. I have to get learn on how to reference properl\y for my next essay.

Homework: Next week, speak in front of the class to talk about your topic. The questions you want to be answered, references, information, background etc.

What we did today in class

Today, Tomoko, Ma and I checked each others essay. I hope I get to finish everything before the due date. I still have some grammatical errors that I need to check。Hopefully everybody is almost done with their essays.

Today we all formed into groups and checked our friend's paper. It was very helpful especially that I found out that there are still a lot of things that I need to work on. I never knew Google is so convenient!

It's a good thing that Monday and Tuesday is a holiday. YEHEY! LONG WEEKEND! I'm so happy. Hopefully I get to finish everything by the end of Tuesday night.

Second Draft

Today the teacher checked my essay and there are alot of mistakes. I need at least two weeks to rewrite my essay. Hopefully I`ll get to finish this on time.

October 15

Since I haven't written any essay yet to show to the teacher, I took time in checking my classmates papers. I really like the idea of being able to check my friends' essays and comment easily using the internet or any kind technology because it saves a lot of time.
